assassin skill updates
1) Beguiling Haze: increased the Dazed duration to 3..9 seconds.
2) Expose Defenses: increased recharge time to 15 seconds.
3) Expunge Enchantments: now removes an additional Enchantment.
4) Hidden Caltrops: now triggers when the Hex ends. This skill now ends when you hit a moving foe.
5) Recall: now ends if the target moves out of compass range.
6) Sharpen Daggers: Fixed a bug that caused players using Sharpen Daggers to suffer from Bleeding when an attack skill is used against them.
7) Siphon Strength: decreased Energy cost to 10.
1) a step in the right direction but still sucks cuz of the energy cost
2) sucks donkey balls
3) i'd rather use shattering assault but ok
4) what a weird snare to make elite. but is it guaranteed cripple if monk does self hex remove?
5) didnt/wont use it. but seen it utilized to devastating effect by dual base gankers (2 sins + 1 divert monk) in observer mode. sucks for them.
6) havent seen the bug
7) who cares

1) I see this being abused in RA and AB's. Not anything for serious pvp though, so meh.
2) About time, but even with 5 extra seconds recharge... your attack skills aren't recharging that much faster, it basically falls together with Twisting Fangs now.
3) Better than nothing, too bad the skill itself hardly fits on any builds...
4) ...wait, it got nerfed? You have to hit the foe yourself now? Or is hitting any foe working now, as in: cast it on the monk, attack the mesmer, cripple the monk?
Confusing :s
5) Obvious GvG balance, it's obvious ANet wants to shift the meta (they're trying to kill E/Rt runners), Recall is still viable, 'till a certain extent...
6) Meh, hardly use this one anyways
7) Still largely useless elite, the crit rate needs to increase against any target, not just the one you casted it on.
I had hoped for a few more minor buffs to allow more versatile builds, instead they weaken the Shadow Prison build once more... ah well, hopefully less people will play the Assassin now (the typical 'omg noes you nerfed my favorite profession' reaction), so Anet can get to buffing them again in a later balance update to make 'em popular

1) It can now be used effectively at lower shadow arts. The increased duration isn't the real benefit.
2) deserved. If compared to alternative skills with the same function, deserved worse.
3) fine.
4) I assume this is so you can use a black offhand reliably or something. siphon speed is so much better. One of the 'pin a tail on a donkey' updates where 1 underpowered skill with a boring mechanic is altered essentially at random from a large pool of even worse ones.
5) recall split was overpowered, shame about e/a, a/e farming using this. moar h3xes plox.
6) this skill is pure pwnage now...
7) IMO a viable skill now. I can see myself using this definitely, at least in arenas though I probably won't. Simply for the damage reduction on a meleer while you siphon speed your target. Needs to be +crit vs other foes really.
siphon strength is the only one here that may result in me running something I wouldn't already. I guess those a/r barragers will benefit from sharpen daggers.
